What can you do with all the World’s wasted plastic? Build a Bottle School…

Laura Kutner’s good idea was to work with the entire community of Granados, a village in Guatemala, to build a school out of used plastic bottles and trash.

Kids spent months collecting and stuffing bottles to make “eco-blocks”, which were then stacked and covered in concrete to make the walls. When the mayor reported that there was no more money to complete the school, Hug It Forward stepped in to fund the project.
